Poleg Beach, Netanya

I stood in the cool waters of Poleg Beach, at the point where the sea and land become one story. As I looked around, the camera captured the endless movement of the waves: on one side they approach me, breaking gently, and on the other they recede back into the depths, creating a mosaic of foam and turquoise.

Waves and City

On the horizon, the towers of the coastal city rise proudly, a reminder of the vibrant metropolis that exists just beyond the golden sands. The high sun bathed everything in bright light, sending one precise beam that cast my shadow—the photographer’s—directly into the transparent water. My presence there, within the image, made me part of the moment and not just an observer from the side.

And far, far away, almost at the seam between the blue of the sea and the blue of the sky, a lone paraglider hovered. It appeared as a small point of absolute freedom, suspended in the air, completing the tranquility of this open space.
