Island Promenade, Netanya
A sunny morning in Netanya. The promenade awakens, stretching along the coast like a lazy cat. The silhouette of a skyscraper casts a long shadow on the golden sand.
Suddenly, a blue dot appears in the sky. A brave paraglider takes advantage of the warm breezes. He hovers gracefully, as if dancing with the wind. Time after time, he passes over the promenade, like an actor performing again and again on a vast stage.
Below him, on the promenade, an elderly couple strolls slowly. They stop to admire the blooming purple and yellow flowers that carpet the garden. A little girl runs on the grass, laughing as her father chases after her.
And twenty meters below them, the Sea, deep blue and calm, caresses the shore. Small waves crash on the sand, creating a soothing melody. In the distance, a small ship passes, almost invisible on the horizon.
The city and nature combine here in perfect harmony. The tall hotels look out to the Sea, as if they too are enjoying the view. And the Sea? It continues as usual, indifferent to the beauty it creates, continuing to roll its waves to the shore, as it always has.
Thus passes another day on Island Promenade, a place where time seems to stand still, and only the lone paraglider in the sky, immortalized from many angles and pasted into the panorama again and again, reminds us that the world continues to spin.
